The first edition of Hildegaard Neroli Haute Botanical Facial Oil features flowers from Citrus Aurantium trees which are sustainably cultivated near the town of Nabeul on the Cap Bon Peninsula of Tunisia. Blossoms are harvested in early April at the tender moment when buds fully unfurl as orange blossoms. Delicate buds are hand-picked, one-by-one — charged with the passion and presence of the farmer. The trees are treated in accordance with the principles of integrated agriculture, a dynamic and sustainable farming approach. Blossoms are harvested and processed by the same producer, ensuring full traceability of the supply chain.
The first edition of Hildegaard Olibanum Haute Botanical Facial Oil features the highest quality wildcrafted Boswellia Carterii resin from a private Frankincense grove in Somalia. Hildegaard’s Frankincense resin is harvested using a sustainable tapping technique, which protects the long-term health of the Boswellia Carterii. Our third generation farmers preserve the high potency of the resin by respecting the ancient rule that resin may only be harvested if the trees receive rain at the beginning of the year. Following two years of harvest, plants are given one year to rest and regenerate to ensure the survival of the Boswellia Carterii species.
The first edition of Hildegaard Immortelle Haute Botanical Facial Oil features wild Helichrysum Italicum flowers cultivated with 100% organic and sustainable agricultural techniques in the meadows and fields of Serbia. Hildegaard Immortelle possesses a pine and spicy effect with a balsamic and fruity note and delivers energetic sensations. The supply chain of Hildegaard Immortelle involves a long-term partnership with a woman-led producer, ensuring long-term revenue for the farmers and full traceability to local pickers.
The first edition of Hildegaard Rose Haute Botanical Facial Oil features Rosa Damascena cultivated using sustainable agricultural techniques in the high altitude Isparta-Burdur region of Turkey. High altitude rose bushes produce fewer flowers, but are less susceptible to heat, thus their oil yield is higher and of better quality. Roses are harvested just at the point of opening when the buds are densest with oil. Hildegaard Rose possesses a particularly spicy fruity character and tends to induce sensations of joy.
